Ford Offers Free EV Home Charger Installation for Customers
In a move to make electric vehicle ownership more convenient, Ford is now offering customers a complimentary home charger installation with the purchase of select EV models. This initiative encourages more consumers to switch to electric by addressing one of the primary hurdles of EV ownership: home charging. Ford’s new program covers the installation costs of a Level 2 home charger, significantly reducing charging time compared to standard outlets. Customers will also have access to Ford’s network of preferred electricians for the installation process.
According to Ford, this offer applies to new EV model purchases, including the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning, aiming to make EV adoption as seamless as possible while providing substantial savings to new owners.
